Delivery Project Director (DEL 1)

Role overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a seasoned Delivery Project Director to steer the end-to-end delivery of major projects across its ambitious development portfolio. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring that execution is efficient, coordinated, and aligned with the organization’s standards for innovation, quality, and sustainability.

What you will do

• Drive the full lifecycle of complex projects, from early planning through final handover, while keeping scope, timeline, and budget under control.
• Lead, coach, and develop project teams to encourage teamwork, ownership, and ongoing performance improvement.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, government bodies, and senior leaders.
• Create and apply delivery approaches, project methods, and risk-reduction plans that support successful outcomes.
• Track progress closely and take corrective action when schedule, cost, or quality targets are at risk.
• Make sure all work follows applicable regulations, safety requirements, and internal policies throughout the project life cycle.
• Prepare clear project updates, reports, and presentations for executive stakeholders and decision-makers.

The role calls for a professional with a strong background in large-scale project delivery, proven leadership capability, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments. Experience delivering to high standards of time, cost, and quality is essential.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a closely related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 12 years of steadily progressing experience in project delivery, including 5 or more years in a senior leadership capacity on large and complex projects.
• A track record of completing projects on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality level.
• Strong people leadership skills, with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent ability to manage stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and communicate clearly.
• Hands-on familiarity with project management systems and software.
• PMP certification or a comparable professional qualification is strongly preferred.
• Prior work experience in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, is an advantage.
