Role overview

We are looking for a seasoned Delivery Manager to oversee the smooth operational running of education and learning programmes. In this role, you will coordinate delivery across multiple functions, help create strong learner experiences, maintain productive stakeholder partnerships, and make sure programmes are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You will also contribute to ongoing improvement, operational quality, and strong learner outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and refine workflows and operating practices that support consistent, high-quality programme delivery.
  • Guide and support programme coordinators, facilitators, mentors, and other members of the delivery function.
  • Handle escalations and resolve difficult programme or learner issues when they arise.
  • Partner with learner support teams to help participants achieve strong outcomes.
  • Coordinate facilitators and mentors so programmes run successfully.
  • Assist with finding, onboarding, engaging, and retaining facilitators.
  • Track programme results and review operational information to spot opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with important stakeholders and programme partners.
  • Work across teams to deliver shared objectives and meet delivery targets.
  • Recognise, prioritise, and actively manage risks during programme operations.
  • Help build scalable systems, processes, and operational tools that can support growth.
  • Bring programme requirements and stakeholder feedback into planning and operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven background in managing programme delivery in higher education, professional learning, training, or a similar setting.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams made up of different disciplines.
  • Strong capability in operational management and improving processes.
  • Ability to work through complex issues and manage escalations effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with mentors, facilitators, coaches, or learner support staff.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good analytical thinking, reporting ability, and sound judgement.
  • Confidence in identifying operational risks early and managing them proactively.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills across varied stakeholder groups.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent experiences for learners, customers, or participants.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving and changing environments.
  • Ability to balance quality outcomes with commercial and operational priorities.

Recruitment process
