Role Overview

The Delivery Lead role entails full ownership of end-to-end delivery for AI and integration projects. This involves ensuring adherence to project scope, scheduling, and quality requirements. The Delivery Lead will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder communications, and facilitate smooth collaboration between clients and technical personnel. Daily responsibilities include planning and tracking delivery milestones, risk and dependency identification, and resolving impediments to maintain project momentum. The role also supports continuous refinement of delivery processes and ensures final solutions are secure and production-ready.

Key Duties

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects including managing timelines, budgets, quality benchmarks, and early detection of potential overruns.
• Develop and update detailed roadmaps with defined milestones and dependencies.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks and blockers that may impact project scope or deadlines.
• Control scope changes through formal change management procedures.
• Manage live production projects and associated support contracts for clients.
• Serve as the primary escalation contact for client issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize and sign off on project requirements.
• Align client expectations regarding timelines, scope, and trade-offs effectively.
• Coordinate activities between architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure synchronized delivery.
• Support developer enablement and provide ongoing support.
• Lead sprint planning sessions and retrospectives across teams.
• Handle resource allocation and capacity planning across projects.
• Report project delivery status regularly to leadership and clients via steering committees and periodic updates.
• Ensure adherence to engineering and quality assurance standards within delivery.
• Assist commercial efforts, including Statements of Work (SOWs), change requests, and contract renewals.
• Identify opportunities for process, tooling, and delivery improvements and integrate lessons learned to optimize workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven senior delivery experience in consultancy, systems integrators, or professional services environments with ownership mindset.
• Track record leading technology projects involving AI, integration, or cloud-based platforms.
• Strong expertise in project planning, milestone tracking, and managing risks and dependencies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, product teams, and clients in remote settings.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AI applications, and modern integration methods such as APIs, event-driven design, and automation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively translate technical details into business language.
• Self-driven with the capability to prioritize concurrent initiatives and remain accountable for deliverables.
• Experience with agile or hybrid project delivery frameworks and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps is advantageous.
• Background in consulting, delivery management, or technical program leadership is preferred.
