Job description
About Domino’s
Domino’s started in 1960 as a small business with big ambitions, and that spirit still shapes the brand today. The company emphasizes hard work, innovation, continuous improvement, and a workplace where people are treated with dignity and respect. Domino’s also values a diverse team and aims to create an environment where employees can grow and do their best work.
Role Overview
This position is for a delivery driver who will help prepare, deliver, and support pizza orders during busy hours of the day and night. The job is suited for someone who wants flexible scheduling, extra income, or a role that can fit around school, another job, or personal commitments. Domino’s highlights growth opportunities, including the possibility of progressing into leadership or management-related roles.
What You’ll Do
As a delivery-focused team member, you will represent the brand at the customer’s door and help ensure orders arrive quickly and accurately. The role calls for strong customer interaction, a positive attitude, punctuality, and a sense of urgency. You’ll also need to maintain a professional appearance in line with company image standards.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Use maps and navigation skills to find addresses within the assigned delivery area, including homes, multi-story buildings, and other locations.
- Handle delivery tasks independently and with coworkers while staying calm under pressure and meeting quality expectations.
- Assist with stocking ingredients, moving items from the delivery area to storage or cooler spaces, and completing related paperwork.
- Answer and process phone orders efficiently to support customer satisfaction and fast turnaround times.
- Perform basic math quickly and accurately, including making correct change when needed.
- Use a computer keyboard, touchscreen, and foot-paddle as part of the workflow.
Physical Demands
The job is largely performed while standing, so most of the shift will be spent on your feet. Work may involve walking on tile and linoleum surfaces, unloading bulk deliveries several times each week, and lifting or stacking items weighing up to 50 pounds. You may also need to crouch, squat, bend, stoop, or use stairs. Good hand-eye coordination is required for handling dough, pizza tools, and folding pizza boxes.
Additional Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
- You must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
- You must clear a criminal background check.
- You must pass a motor vehicle record check that meets company standards.
Additional Information
All information submitted will be handled confidentially in line with equal employment opportunity guidelines.
