Job description
Role overview
Domino’s is hiring delivery experts in Cleveland, MS and is looking for people who enjoy fast-paced work, customer service, and safe driving. The role offers immediate hiring, flexible scheduling, and the option to choose either short or long shifts. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available.
Drivers typically earn more than $20 per hour when wage, tips, and mileage reimbursement are combined. Mileage reimbursement and tips are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid every other Friday.
Pay and vehicle options
You may use your own vehicle and receive adjustable mileage reimbursement to help cover fuel and other vehicle-related costs, or you may use a company vehicle for deliveries. To use a company vehicle, you must be at least 21 years old, have a clean driving record, and have at least 2 years of driving history.
A safe driving record is required. The role also uses technology designed to speed up safe deliveries and improve efficiency.
Main duties
The job centers on completing deliveries within a designated area, handling customer orders carefully, and maintaining strong service standards. Drivers may complete multiple deliveries during a shift and are expected to work safely and efficiently.
Requirements and eligibility
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, pass a background check, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record subject to Motor Vehicle Report review. A dependable vehicle and valid insurance are required unless using a company-provided car under the stated conditions.
Candidates should have strong navigation skills, be able to read maps and locate addresses accurately, and be comfortable delivering to buildings with stairs or uneven terrain. The role calls for the ability to follow instructions, handle repetitive work, work independently and as part of a team, stay calm under pressure, uphold quality standards, deliver excellent customer service, and make sound decisions.
Working environment
This position involves work in changing weather and exposure to different indoor and outdoor conditions. Store temperatures can range from 36 degrees in cooler areas to 90 degrees or higher in some workspaces. The work environment may include food odors, cornmeal dust, compact areas such as walk-in coolers, hot surfaces and tools including ovens that may reach 500 degrees or more, as well as sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical demands
The role requires walking, carrying, climbing, driving, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent hand use. Drivers move between the store, their vehicle, and customer locations, and may need to carry pizzas and beverages while climbing stairs. Deliveries may involve 5 or more flights of stairs.
Bending at the waist is needed at the pizza assembly station and while stocking or cleaning. Reaching is frequent in multiple directions, and hand coordination is important for handling dough, tools, boxes, and cooking equipment. Vision and hearing requirements include phone communication, near and mid-range sight for store tasks, depth perception, and far/night vision for driving.
Growth and culture
Domino’s highlights career growth opportunities beyond delivery, including roles such as Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, and General Manager. The company also emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and recognizing the strengths of all team members. The brand states that it values honesty, transparency, accountability, and a people-first work culture.
Franchise notice
This opening is with an independently owned and operated franchise store. Employment decisions, including hiring, discipline, supervision, pay, benefits, staffing, and scheduling, are handled by the franchisee rather than the corporate company. Applications are not reviewed by the corporate office, and the franchisee will be the sole employer if hired.
Additional information
The company says it strives to provide a safe, stable work environment and continues to promote the idea that there is significant growth potential for team members. It also notes that many local store owners began their careers as delivery drivers or pizza makers.
