Operational duties
- Use the required equipment and help keep the operation running smoothly.
- Move ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
- Assist with preparing products.
- Answer telephone orders and process them correctly.
- Help with inventory checks and related paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility on a regular, generally daily, basis.
Communication and work skills
- Understand written instructions and follow them accurately.
- Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers by phone and in person.
- Use basic math to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and correctly, with calculator use if needed.
- Provide accurate change when handling payments.
- Enter orders using a keyboard or touchscreen.
- Coordinate hand and eye movements to perform tasks accurately and quickly.
