Decision Intelligence Manager

About the Role

We seek a Decision Intelligence Manager located in the UAE, offering a fully remote, full-time position for mid to senior-level professionals. The role involves pioneering decision intelligence strategies, advancing analytics initiatives, and providing AI-based insights to enhance enterprise decision-making capabilities across various functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute decision intelligence strategies and data-driven frameworks aligned with corporate goals.
• Lead creation and deployment of decision-support tools integrating business intelligence, AI, machine learning, and process automation.
• Engage cross-functional teams from data science, strategy, operations, finance, marketing, risk, and leadership to identify critical decision opportunities.
• Convert complex business issues into analytically tractable problems, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
• Design and oversee predictive analytics, optimization, simulations, and automation projects.
• Develop enterprise-level dashboards and performance measurement systems for executives.
• Evaluate data from operations, finance, market trends, and customer behavior to find improvement areas.
• Establish governance for decision intelligence, including standards for analytics, data quality, and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify key decisions, define success metrics, and specify analytical needs.
• Assess and incorporate emerging AI technologies and machine learning tools to advance decision-making capabilities.
• Track KPIs such as model accuracy, analytics adoption, business impact, efficiency gains, and ROI.
• Conduct assessments, reviews, model validations, benchmarking, and continuous improvements in decision processes.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, AI ethics, privacy compliance, cybersecurity, and technology policies.
• Manage budgets, analytics platforms, vendor relationships, consulting partners, and strategic AI projects.
• Drive enterprise digital transformation utilizing AI, machine learning, NLP, generative AI, intelligent automation, knowledge graphs, and advanced BI solutions.
• Apply tools including Python, R, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other analytic ecosystems.
• Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, AI strategy documentation, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead and mentor data teams fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
• Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, MBA, or similar is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as AI, ML, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Cloud Computing, project management credentials (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.
• At least 5 years’ experience in decision intelligence, analytics, business intelligence, data science, AI strategies, or related domains.
• Minimum 2 years managing analytics teams, AI projects, or enterprise transformation initiatives is highly desired.
• Proficient with decision intelligence concepts, predictive modeling, AI strategy, data governance, optimization, and analytical storytelling.
• Experienced in Python, R, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and machine learning technology stacks.
• Knowledgeable in generative AI, large language models, NLP, automated decision-making systems, knowledge graphs, and AI governance.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, strategic and analytical thinking, project management, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to juggle multiple initiatives while managing complexity, data constraints, ethical issues, cost, deadlines, and business priorities.
• Comfortable working remotely with global and cross-disciplinary teams; occasional travel for meetings and events expected.
