Day Porter / Food & Beverage Assistant

About the Role and Requirements

Cabra Castle in Kingscourt, County Cavan (A82 EC64) is seeking individuals to join the team as Day Porters and Food & Beverage Assistants. Both full-time and part-time positions are open. Full-time candidates must be available during the academic year, including both weekdays and weekends.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous hospitality industry experience is preferable.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication capabilities.
• Availability for morning and evening shifts throughout weekdays and weekends.
• Customer service experience is beneficial.
• Possession of a full clean Irish driving license.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned areas are properly prepared for service.
• Prepare, timely serve, and efficiently clear room service trays.
• Set up and maintain ballrooms, arrival zones, and dining spaces for show rounds and service.
• Comply strictly with hygiene standards.
• Assist with dining room service to ensure meals are delivered promptly with minimal delay or inconvenience.
• Help guests transport luggage and personal belongings.
• Transport guests between accommodation and other locations as needed.
• Relocate furniture when required.
• Set up and provide service for meeting rooms.
