Job description
Position Overview
We are recruiting a Data Scientist specializing in AI and Machine Learning to join a client on a contractual basis, working remotely from any location. This role focuses on the development and deployment of machine learning models aimed at enhancing predictive accuracy across various client datasets. Collaboration with diverse teams is essential to identify data-driven solutions and streamline automation processes.
Key Duties
- Design, develop, and fine-tune machine learning models for classification, regression, and clustering applications.
- Perform data preprocessing and in-depth analysis on extensive structured and unstructured datasets to derive key insights.
- Create and sustain MLOps workflows to facilitate model deployment, continuous monitoring, and retraining.
- Build and maintain reproducible experiments using Python, Jupyter notebooks, and source control systems.
- Communicate analytical outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visual presentations and detailed technical documentation.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Advanced proficiency in Python and commonly used libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience leveraging SQL for data querying, transformation, and analysis tasks.
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling and designing experiments.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure to support model deployment.
- Capability to operate independently in a fully remote setting with minimal oversight.
