Role Overview
The Data Entry/Registration Clerk provides essential support to clinical operations within a sexual health bureau through various clerical and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Undergo cross-training to assist with patient registration processes.
- Input intake information accurately into electronic medical records.
- Prepare examination rooms specifically for vaccine administration.
- Manage specimen processing for sexually transmitted infections (STI) and Monkey Pox testing.
- Communicate with patients who have reactive test results through text messages, phone calls, or emails.
- Collect fingerstick specimens and perform phlebotomy as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong clerical aptitude with great attention to detail.
- Capability of managing sensitive health-related information appropriately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prior experience working with electronic medical records and specimen handling is preferred but not mandatory.
