The team works across operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, security, and vendors to make sure assets are received, tracked, deployed, serviced, and retired with accuracy and control.
The role is centered on reliable execution of daily asset lifecycle work, including receiving, inventory control, asset tracking, break-fix parts support, and decommissioning. It requires careful follow-through on established procedures, strong documentation habits, and the ability to escalate problems with the right context when needed.
The organization emphasizes a work culture built on trust, care, inclusion, and fun, and highlights its broader mission to create economic opportunity and help people grow their skills.
Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned asset lifecycle activities end to end.
- Complete work accurately and on time in line with standard operating procedures and internal controls.
- Keep systems and documentation consistent, complete, and up to date.
- Use approved processes for handling assets, tracking them, and changing their status.
- Help maintain audit readiness by preserving accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Spot mismatches, exceptions, or operational issues and escalate them quickly with clear context.
- Work with site teams, logistics partners, and vendors to finish assigned tasks.
- Respond to requests from operations, engineering, and asset management partners within service-level expectations.
- Take part in site activities such as inventory counts, audits, and hardware moves.
- Perform repeatable asset operations that support data center reliability and financial accuracy.
- Contribute to inventory correctness, audit performance, and overall operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and consistent execution in day-to-day work.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, supply chain, computer science, electrical engineering, business, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
- At least 1 year of experience in operations, logistics, asset management, inventory control, or a related technical/operations role.
- At least 1 year of experience using operational systems and documentation tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Excel spreadsheets.
- Helpful experience in data center, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Prior exposure to asset management systems, CMDBs, or inventory tools is preferred.
- Experience working with vendors or managed service partners is preferred.
- Ability to follow structured processes carefully and consistently.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving operational environment.
