Internship Opportunity
This Data Analyst Internship is designed for qualified individuals interested in a role that blends instructional and technical aspects. Interns will collaborate with educators to test and refine the analytics models that drive ConnectPrep’s educational products. The role involves gaining comprehensive knowledge of proprietary algorithms, supporting technologies, and educational content. Interns will translate this understanding into practical tests and module development to identify individual students’ academic requirements. The team fosters creative thinking to enhance education through robust data frameworks and insightful analysis.
Requirements
- Enjoys solving complex, real-world data challenges creatively.
- Demonstrates strong mathematical and quantitative abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Shows curiosity about leveraging data to boost learning outcomes.
- Currently studying or holding a degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Possesses coding experience and enthusiasm for technology and artificial intelligence.
- Proficient in at least one of the following: SQL, Python data libraries such as Pandas or NumPy.
- Has experience building basic data pipelines or analysis scripts in Python.
- Skilled in advanced Excel functionalities including formulas, tables, conditional formatting, visualization, pivot tables, simulations, Solver, and optionally VBA/macros.
Data and AI Responsibilities
- Utilize AI tools and workflows to enhance data-driven decisions.
- Perform mining and cleansing of data from diverse sources including web and internal trackers.
- Support AI and chatbot development projects relevant to ConnectPrep’s offerings.
- Conduct SEO and keyword research for growth and performance evaluation.
- Analyze website metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions; prepare dashboards and reports.
- Assist in analyzing marketing campaigns, content effectiveness, and business operations.
- Help test, document, and improve new data and AI workflows.
Preferred Experience
- Previous internships or projects in data analysis, business intelligence, or marketing analytics.
- Familiarity with web analytics and marketing platforms like Google Analytics, GA4, Search Console, or Looker Studio.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio.
- Knowledge of SEO tools or keyword research platforms.
- Comfort collaborating in remote or hybrid environments using tools like Slack, Zoom, and project management software.
