Position Overview

The Data Analyst role demands regular onsite presence at the South Campus in Temple, TX. Candidates should reside within approximately a 50-minute commute. This role is pivotal in sourcing new data streams, refining data gathering, analysis, and reporting processes to meet customer and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, evaluate, and report data to address customer requirements while assessing potential risks.
  • Utilize automated tools to extract data from varied primary and secondary sources.
  • Evaluate current analytical tools and databases, suggesting software solutions.
  • Identify and resolve issues within the reporting database environment.
  • Provide training to end-users on reports and dashboard use.
  • Deliver expertise in data structuring, mining, and cleansing techniques.
  • Support category decisions by analyzing item mixes through data extraction.
  • Collaborate regularly with category managers, the Center for Category Innovation team, and vendor partners to stay abreast of category trends and insights.
  • Undertake any additional duties or special projects as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Between 2 and 4 years of experience in business analysis.
  • Familiarity with Excel; experience in GRA, Report Studio, and Alteryx is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous, efficient, and detail-focused work style.
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and comprehension adequate to follow work instructions and safety protocols is mandatory.
