We focus on goal-centered care to alleviate physical and emotional distress for patients and their caregivers. Our dedicated interdisciplinary teams work to reduce hospitalizations and enhance the quality of life for individuals in their homes. By employing an advanced care model, Tuesday Health is actively shaping the future of community-based palliative care across the nation.

The Role

The Data Analyst will be an integral part of the Clinical Operations Analytics team, responsible for generating insightful analyses, interactive dashboards, and comprehensive reports to inform critical clinical and operational decisions. This role involves leveraging SQL and business intelligence tools to examine diverse datasets from sources such as claims, ADT/HIE, FHIR, Elevate, and other business systems. The analyst will extract valuable insights for internal leadership and for client-facing reviews. Additionally, the role contributes to maintaining accurate data models and overseeing data quality for key reporting assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Engagement teams to precisely define analytic needs and requirements.
  • Develop clear and compelling analyses, visualizations, and dashboards utilizing datasets including claims, pharmacy, FHIR, Elevate, and other internal platforms.
  • Generate customer-facing summaries that effectively demonstrate Tuesday Health's impact, support Joint Operating Committee (JOC) materials, and monitor adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Contribute to data model development through the creation of well-documented transformations and work alongside Analytics Engineering to ensure model accuracy and alignment with reporting objectives.
  • Actively monitor data quality for dashboards and reports, identify anomalies, determine root causes, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to mitigate downstream reporting issues.

Candidate Profile

  • A genuine passion for improving healthcare and advancing Tuesday Health's mission.
  • The ability to articulate clear data-driven narratives and simplify complex information for non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
  • A talent for creating polished, insightful visuals and presentation slides.
  • A curious mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and data exploration.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality in all work.

Skills and Experience

Required

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Demonstrated expertise with at least one business intelligence tool (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in healthcare analytics or a comparable data-focused role.
  • Proven experience in developing dashboards or recurring reports that support operational functions.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with data analysis and transformation using Python.
  • Familiarity with dbt and best practices in analytics engineering.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare datasets (e.g., claims, ADT/HIE).
  • Proficiency with git for version control.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation package designed to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
  • A comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, generous paid time off and holidays, and an employer 401(K) match.
  • Remote work flexibility, with periodic onsite sessions to foster collaboration and team cohesion.
  • A dynamic and inclusive team culture that encourages mutual support, open feedback, authenticity, and impactful contributions in a positive work environment.
  • The opportunity to engage in meaningful work daily, driven by a deep commitment to our mission, patients, and colleagues.
