An expanding specialist consultancy in the housing and property sector seeks a Junior to Intermediate Data Processor / Developer to be based in Farnham, just a two-minute walk from the train station. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals with strong IT or technical backgrounds who have a passion for managing data, databases, and enhancing processes. The position involves a blend of data processing, database administration, and software development, granting hands-on experience across various systems and operational projects within a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process, validate, and maintain large-scale datasets with efficiency.
- Design, develop, and enhance internal tools, scripting, and workflows for automation.
- Oversee database management ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Provide technical and reporting support to operational teams.
- Analyze existing workflows to identify automation potentials and efficiency gains.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to data, databases, and technical challenges.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of systems and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong advanced skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Access database usage.
- Solid knowledge of databases along with SQL querying capabilities.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as VBA, Python, or similar.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High accuracy and ability to work independently.
