About the Role
Join Walmart Canada as a Dairy Frozen Associate and gain valuable experience in a vibrant retail environment. You will maintain a clean, well-organized, and properly zoned Dairy/Frozen department, support stocking, and contribute to sales activities. Primary Responsibilities
- Keep the Dairy/Frozen section clean, organized, and well zoned, ensuring it is always ready for customers.
- Perform regular stock rotation and inspect for expired items, maintaining product freshness and quality standards.
- Ensure all merchandise is correctly priced and labeled, adhering to procedures for ordering, markups, markdowns, and signage.
- Follow strict cold chain, food safety, and sanitation protocols, including temperature monitoring, thermometer calibration, product handling, sell-by date checks, and cleaning duties.
- Maintain merchandising features to meet promotional standards and support visual displays.
- Keep the work environment safe, tidy, and free from hazards by promptly addressing spills, debris, and unnecessary items, while following company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Be flexible with work schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs and maintain smooth store operations.
Challenges in this Role
- Manage a fast-paced workload, particularly overnight shifts, requiring planning and stamina to stay efficient and focused.
- Complete large volumes of restocking and recovery tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Handle physical demands such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks including stocking, zoning, and organizing stock with keen attention to detail and consistency.

Compensation
The position starts at a minimum hourly wage of $15.50.
Qualifications
