Role summary
The Customs Rater will report to the Customs Manager and handle the rating, release, and administration of customs transactions for a client portfolio. This role is focused on meeting all required deadlines while delivering a high standard of service to clients.
What you'll do
You will manage customs files from a processing and timing standpoint, making sure transactions are rated and released accurately and on schedule. The position calls for consistent coordination across client work to support smooth customs brokerage operations.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in the customs brokerage field
- Experience using CargoWise One is an advantage
- Working knowledge of MS Office is necessary
- High school diploma required
- CCS designation is preferred
