Job description
Role Overview
This is a temporary contract position where you will be employed by Magnit, not The Cigna Group. You will perform specific delegated technical, administrative, or operative tasks under the guidance of a supervisor. Your duties will involve preparing and reviewing operational and financial statements, assisting with production levels, and ensuring effective processing controls and reporting according to established procedures. While you will handle day-to-day tasks independently, support from experienced team members will be readily available. The role requires anticipating needs and issues, and resolving non-routine problems escalated from junior team members.
Key Functions
As an administrator, you will contribute to daily operations by ensuring an optimal client experience, facilitating communication across departments, reaching out to prescriber offices, and measuring/reporting outcomes. You will act as a subject matter expert on product processes, providing clarification to the team. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for operational improvements to enhance team performance, support departmental projects, and coordinate clinical interventions. This includes reviewing progress notes, coordinating with clinical pharmacists, and auditing documents for accuracy before they are sent to prescribers' offices. You will also respond to inquiries from clients and other departments for information and assistance.
Additional Information
This is a fully remote position open to qualified candidates across the US, operating within the EST time zone. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED. A Pharmacy Tech Certification or Registered Pharmacy Technician status is strongly preferred, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant Pharmacy Technician experience. Experience in managed care, pharmacy technician roles, or workers’ compensation claims is highly requested. The hourly pay rate ranges from $16.00 to $17.00, depending on location, experience, and expectations. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K, provided minimum eligibility hours are met. Visa sponsorship and STEM OPT training are not available. This position is subject to fair chance employment ordinances in certain locations, requiring consideration of criminal history in relation to job duties, including handling client property and data security obligations.
