Role Overview

This fully remote U.S.-based contract opportunity is for a Customer Renewals Representative II focused on protecting recurring revenue and supporting the customer lifecycle. The role centers on hardware renewals, reconciliations, billing issue resolution, renewal pipeline maintenance, and accurate contract execution. It is a 40-hour-per-week position with no expected overtime or weekend work, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST with a one-hour lunch.

Contract Details

Pay is set at $35 per hour on W-2. The assignment runs through December 2026, with a moderate chance of being extended or converted into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will oversee renewal activity for customer hardware, complete reconciliation work, and help drive revenue retention. You will prepare and process renewal contracts accurately, verify customer entitlements and contractual commitments through detailed reviews, and make sure invoicing and revenue-related timelines are met.

  • Handle hardware renewal opportunities and reconciliation tasks to support retention goals.
  • Prepare renewal contracts with precision and align them with monthly billing and revenue schedules.
  • Review contracts and reconcile hardware records to confirm entitlements and obligations.
  • Submit contract change requests to Operations for auto-renewal updates.
  • Process product and contract terminations in line with company policy and customer agreements.
  • Research customer contracts and agreements to support interpretation and compliance.
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Collections, and Operations partners.
  • Maintain the renewal pipeline and customer activity records in Salesforce.
  • Monitor monthly forecast updates and help ensure invoices are issued on schedule.
  • Address billing questions and support contract-related customer requests.
  • Assist managers and teammates with operational tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Coordinate internal support to ensure a smooth customer experience and positive outcomes.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of experience in customer renewals, contract administration, subscription renewals, or a customer success environment. You should be highly organized, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving setting with multiple priorities.

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in renewals, contracts, subscriptions, or customer success.
  • Strong communication and customer service capabilities.
  • Excellent organization and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and work to deadlines in a high-paced environment.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience handling customer contracts, renewals, billing, or revenue processes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, with Salesforce preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent work experience may also be considered. Additional exposure to HR, Payroll, HCM, or Workforce Management software is a plus, along with stronger Excel and reporting capabilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience.
  • Background supporting HR, Payroll, HCM, or Workforce Management software.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience in a SaaS or software subscription business.
  • Familiarity with revenue forecasting and contract lifecycle management.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, including a one-hour lunch break. No overtime or weekend work is expected.
