Role overview
Dynacare is hiring a Customer Care Representative to be the first point of contact for customers and partners. In this role, you will help resolve inquiries, support service users, and contribute to a better customer experience across multiple communication channels. The position is part of Dynacare’s customer service team and is based on-site in Brampton, Ontario.
Employment details
- Status: permanent part-time, with eligibility for benefits
- Work style: on-site
- Location: 115 Midair Court, Brampton, Ontario
- Schedule: up to 24 hours per week, with variable hours
- Weekday hours: Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and midnight
- Saturday hours: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday and statutory holiday hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What the role involves
You will handle customer communication, investigate issues, and support internal coordination so that customer needs are addressed accurately and in a timely manner. The role includes working with phone, email, fax, social media, live chat, and other communication methods, while following health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Additional responsibilities
- Respond to questions about Dynacare services and route cases to the right team when needed
- Review social media comments, escalate issues where appropriate, or reply according to contact guidelines
- Support health professionals and patients with requisitions, testing requirements, sample collection, instructions, pricing, and related special cases
- Track complaints through to resolution and ensure follow-up is completed
- Communicate with external customers through email, phone, live chat, fax, mail, and social media
- Gather information from customers on Dynacare’s behalf, including details related to samples
- Coordinate partner and customer update communications using the preferred delivery channel
- Provide patient results in line with provincial requirements
- Record complete customer information for every interaction
- Call critical results as soon as they are reported, checking each client’s calling instructions before sharing the information
- Send STAT results and manage Level 2 abnormal results by fax or phone as quickly as possible
- Manage outbound contact campaigns, scan results into the designated LIS, and help ensure turnaround time targets are met
- Handle phone and fax requests from physician offices
- Support national distribution of sample collection kits
- Complete filing, archiving, backup billing, and receipt generation tasks
- Follow standard operating procedures to maintain compliance with applicable regulatory bodies
- Act as the primary contact for special project accounts when assigned
- Carry out other duties assigned by the manager or team lead
