  • Create strategic business plans encompassing unit economics, production schedules, marketing approaches, and financial break-even analyses.
  • Design curriculum content aligned with educational standards (K-12), collaborating with writers and subject experts to produce teacher guides, student resources, assessments, and supplemental materials that are academically sound and commercially feasible.
  • Ensure curriculum compliance with Common Core and state-specific standards, manage accreditation processes, and stay up to date on trends in curriculum development.
  • Engage with schools, homeschool networks, and educators to validate market requirements and formulate go-to-market strategies including positioning, pricing, and sales targets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing, and Operations to manage project timelines, monitor effectiveness through feedback and sales data, and iteratively improve the product.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Leadership, or related fields.
  • Minimum five years of experience in curriculum or instructional design, or education product development.
  • Proven track record in launching new curriculum lines or education products.
  • Thorough understanding of educational standards, accreditation, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong project management skills to handle complex, multidisciplinary projects from inception to rollout.
  • Excellent communication skills tailored for both educational and business stakeholders.
  • Alignment with the mission of faith-based and values-driven education.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Background in publishing or children’s education sectors.
  • Familiarity with digital curriculum platforms, learning management systems, or educational technology tools.
  • Established relationships within K-12 schools and homeschool communities.
  • Experience analyzing student outcomes and educational data.
  • Knowledge of instructional design methods such as ADDIE or backward design.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience launching products in emerging markets.
