Overview
Accor, a global leader in the hospitality industry with presence in over 110 countries and hosting more than 5,500 hotels along with 10,000 restaurants and bars, is seeking a Culinary Store Officer for their partnership with a leading airline managing lounge operations at Changi Airport, Singapore. This role involves managing kitchen inventory and supporting efficient kitchen operations across lounge locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting all delivered kitchen goods, ensuring proper storage in designated shelving.
- Organizing and labeling stock according to operational protocols and food safety standards.
- Implementing First Expired First Out (FEFO) inventory principles to reduce wastage and maintain freshness.
- Performing daily inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Tracking inventory movement and reporting any shortages, damaged, or expired products.
- Maintaining clean, organized, and hygienic storage areas.
- Handling chilled, frozen, and dry goods with adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Assisting kitchen teams by coordinating supply deliveries between lounge locations.
- Supporting stock replenishment processes to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Complying with company policies and workplace safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or storekeeping, preferably within hospitality or airport services.
- Basic familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Physical ability to lift and safely move stock items.
