About the Role

The Credit Supervisor position plays a vital role within the finance department at Millennium Hotel Doha, overseeing credit control and accounts receivable activities. This role focuses on assessing credit risks, setting credit policies, and ensuring prompt collection of payments to support the hotel's financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of new customers and business partners.
• Set credit limits and conditions consistent with corporate guidelines and market practices.
• Analyze credit applications and make well-informed decisions.
• Develop, update, and enforce credit policies and procedures.
• Implement credit control techniques to reduce financial risk exposure.
• Ensure adherence to credit standards and policies throughout operations.
• Manage accounts receivable operations including billing, invoicing, and debt collection.
• Guarantee accurate and timely processing of all invoices and payment transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile outstanding customer accounts systematically.
• Strategize and manage the recovery of overdue debts effectively.
• Collaborate with clients to resolve any payment disputes or concerns efficiently.
• Prepare periodic reports detailing credit performance and outstanding balances.
• Conduct analysis of receivables to spot patterns and potential improvements.
• Report regularly to the head of finance on related metrics.
• Maintain constructive relationships with clients and partners.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding credit arrangements and invoicing.
• Work alongside Sales and Operations departments to enhance revenue streams.
• Comply with applicable financial laws and credit-related regulations.
• Support internal and external audit processes concerning credit and receivables.
• Collaborate closely with finance team members to optimize credit-related workflows.
• Offer guidance and training to junior team members as necessary.
• Prioritize health, safety, and environmental conservation in daily activities.
• Follow the hotel's policies on environmental, health, and safety standards.
