Credit Manager - Business Loan

Overview

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive review and assessment of loan application files.
• Engage in personal and video discussions with loan applicants to verify information.
• Ensure all loan decisions comply with prescribed turnaround times.
• Manage relationships and coordination with external vendors involved in loan processing.
• Deliver training sessions for stakeholders on loan policies and procedural guidelines.
• Create and update Management Information System (MIS) reports reflecting loan application statuses and approval metrics.
• Perform portfolio evaluations to gauge the loan book's ongoing performance.
• Underwrite loan requests maintaining quality standards to support branch business objectives through appropriate training.
• Assess business loan proposals evaluating financial performance, liquidity, debt management, and profitability ratios to determine creditworthiness.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers to understand business operations and monitor delinquency and infant accounts.

Candidate Profile

• Experience ranging from 1 to 5 years in underwriting business loans.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Requirements

Applicants should have a degree in any graduate program, postgraduate qualification, or a relevant field.
