Peta Jane Beauty is a rapidly expanding beauty label known for award-winning self-tanners and glow-focused essentials that help people feel confident in their skin. Built by Peta Murgatroyd, the brand has gained traction across direct-to-consumer, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and retail channels.
The company is developing a creator-led growth system designed to increase awareness, trust, content volume, community engagement, and efficient customer acquisition.
Role overview
The Creator Partnerships Lead will oversee the full creator journey for Peta Jane Beauty, from identifying talent and onboarding them to securing content usage rights, managing amplification, and monitoring results.
This is a creator commerce and content performance role, not a traditional affiliate position. The person in this role will source creators who can drive sales, handle gifting and product seeding, negotiate rights for content use, coordinate whitelisting and Spark Ads, review performance, and ensure top-performing creator content supports paid media, organic channels, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and retail visibility. The role also includes building a creator community and ambassador network that can earn through commissions, retainers, or one-time usage deals.
Location and work setup
New York City is preferred. Highly exceptional remote candidates may also be considered. Travel may be needed for important shoots, creator events, product launches, and brand activations.
The position may be structured as a full-time role or as a 90-day contract-to-hire arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Find, contact, onboard, and maintain relationships with creators.
- Manage the creator pipeline across TikTok Shop, Instagram, YouTube, Amazon creator programs, Shopify Collabs, and local retail-focused creators.
- Coordinate gifting, product shipments, affiliate codes, tracking links, and ongoing creator communication.
- Prepare creator briefs, messaging points, timelines, deliverables, and post-campaign follow-up.
- Negotiate usage rights, whitelisting, Spark Ads, and exclusivity when performance supports it.
- Keep the creator CRM organized with accurate status updates, shipped product details, received content, usage rights, performance data, and next steps.
- Spot creator content that should be amplified through paid media.
- Work closely with paid media, creative strategy, content, customer support, and operations teams.
- Help grow the brand’s creator community and ambassador ecosystem.
- Support launches, seasonal campaigns, retail awareness initiatives, and event activations.
What the company is looking for
- At least 4 years of experience in creator partnerships, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, talent partnerships, TikTok Shop, or creator management.
- Ability to identify creators who generate conversions, not only those with large followings.
- Working knowledge of TikTok Shop, Instagram creators, YouTube creators, Amazon creators, and paid amplification tactics.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large pipeline without losing track of details.
- Comfort with negotiating usage rights, content terms, whitelisting, and creator deliverables.
- Ability to move quickly while preserving brand quality and relationship-focused communication.
- Understanding of beauty, lifestyle, wellness, fashion, or female consumer brands.
- Self-starter mindset, resourcefulness, and strong follow-through.
- Capability to collaborate cross-functionally with paid media, creative, content, customer support, and operations teams.
Bonus experience
- Background in beauty, tanning, skincare, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
- Existing relationships with creators, talent managers, or agencies.
- Experience with TikTok Shop affiliate programs.
- Experience sourcing creator content for paid social campaigns.
- Familiarity with creator CRM tools or platforms such as Shopify Collabs, Euka, Trybe, Superfiliate, Try Your Best, Notion, or similar systems.
- Experience supporting creator events, pop-ups, launches, or retail campaigns.
Early success expectations
- Set up a clear weekly cadence for creator outreach and seeding.
- Clean and actively manage the creator CRM.
- Improve the post rate from gifted products month over month.
- Reduce the time it takes for creators to publish their first post.
- Generate 15 to 30+ usable creator content assets each month with usage rights secured.
- Launch 5 to 10+ creator assets into paid campaigns each month.
- Keep the whitelisting and Spark Ads pipeline moving.
- Increase TikTok Shop and creator-driven GMV while maintaining margin discipline.
- Build and maintain a strong list of top creator relationships.
- Ensure creator content supports DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and retail awareness goals.
Compensation
The compensation package includes a competitive base along with performance-based upside. Incentives are tied to operating metrics such as usable content with rights secured, creator assets launched into paid, response rate from seeding, time to first post, winning creator assets, TikTok Shop GMV within margin guardrails, and measurable new-customer impact.
