Job description

About the role

This position exists to free up Maddie’s time while also elevating the overall quality and scale of the content being produced. She already writes, edits, and creates the videos that have attracted a massive audience and generate millions of views each week. The goal here is to expand that output, improve it further, and help grow an already strong audience into something even bigger.

About the company

Studio Era is the content and training world created by Madelaine Rascan for women focused on fat loss, muscle building, and home-based fitness without restrictive dieting. The team is small and fast-moving, with a strong obsession for quality, and it supports a community of thousands of women who train with Maddie regularly and see real results. The work has meaningful impact because it helps change people’s lives.

If you are not already familiar with Maddie, you are encouraged to review her work and social presence to understand the tone and style expected in this role. The team is looking for someone who immediately understands why her content works and can help make it even stronger.

What you will do

You will take ownership of content that already performs well and refine it so every detail is stronger. The role involves helping grow YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok through better strategy, sharper storytelling, and stronger execution. You will identify what is missing, suggest ideas, direct shoots, and edit the videos yourself.

You will work closely with Maddie to transform her ideas into content that performs at a higher level while allowing her to focus on the work only she can do. This is a very practical, hands-on role where you will not only edit in the timeline but also help decide what content gets made and why.

What the ideal candidate looks like

The right person is a highly skilled editor who also thinks like a creative director. They bring strong taste, can demonstrate it through their work, and understand that platform-native storytelling matters just as much as visual polish. They know how to create short-form content that fits the way each platform works, while also being capable of sustaining attention in longer videos.

You should live and breathe social platforms, stay current with what is performing well, and understand which trends are fading. You should be able to watch a successful video and naturally break down why it worked. Most importantly, you need to understand Maddie’s voice and style so the content still feels authentic to her, only bigger and better.

This role suits someone who works quickly, takes ownership of outcomes, and does not need constant instructions or repeated approvals.

Who should not apply

This will not be a fit for someone who needs extensive hand-holding, detailed step-by-step briefs, or multiple rounds of approval to feel comfortable. It is also not suitable for anyone who views editing as a purely technical task instead of a storytelling craft. The team works quickly and maintains a very high standard because the audience expects it.

Offer

The position is fully remote. Compensation is listed at USD 50,000 to 90,000 annually, depending on experience and location. The role also offers the chance to work closely with Maddie and contribute to an audience that most editors would never have access to.

Application instructions

Applications are to be submitted through the provided form rather than any social platform application button. The team wants to review your actual work, not just a resume. You should share examples of short-form edits and any long-form work you are proud of. Instead of describing your contribution, show the results your work produced.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
