Job description
Role overview
E6 Creative is hiring a Creative Editor who can transform raw photography and video footage into polished final assets. The work spans a broad range of clients, so the role suits someone who has a sharp visual eye, enjoys hands-on editing, and takes pride in producing high-quality creative output.
This position is ideal for an editor who values craft, wants room to experiment creatively, and can deliver work that matches the standard of the agency’s projects.
Key responsibilities
- Refine and enhance images for use on social channels, websites, and marketing materials.
- Perform video editing and colour grading to a strong standard while staying aligned with each client’s brand style, including audio polishing and soundtrack syncing.
- Partner with the Managing Director and Creative Director to take their RAW files through a reliable post-production workflow and produce consistent results.
- Work alongside the wider creative team to develop ideas, formats, and visual direction.
- Handle several projects at once and meet deadlines without lowering the quality of the finished work.
- Keep client files and asset libraries organised and easy to manage.
- Follow developments in photography, video production, and editing so the final output stays current and compelling.
Skills and experience
- A strong portfolio showing both retouched photography and graded video is required; applications without portfolio evidence will not be considered.
- Comfortable using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing.
- Skilled in either Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for video work.
- Understanding of colour correction, image retouching, and how to get the best results from RAW files.
- Able to manage workload independently across multiple deadlines.
- Media production or a related qualification is helpful, though equivalent practical experience and a strong portfolio are equally valued.
- Experience with After Effects, Capture One, or other Adobe Creative Cloud tools would be an advantage.
Benefits
- Company events.
- Employee discount.
- Employee mentoring programme.
- Flexible working hours.
- Gym membership.
- Sick pay.
- Option to work from home.
