About the Role
We are seeking a Creative Director to spearhead innovative, social-first creative concepts for our clients in the beauty, fragrance, fashion, and lifestyle industries. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position requiring both strategic big-picture thinking and meticulous attention to execution details. The Creative Director will be responsible for leading concept development, defining visual expression, ideating campaigns, presenting creative strategies to clients, and overseeing creative output. You will guide and collaborate with our internal creative team, including senior art direction and design specialists, while actively shaping and advancing the agency's creative vision.
This role is perfectly suited for an agency-bred creative leader with a profound understanding of social and influencer culture, beauty aesthetics, emerging digital behaviors, and AI-driven creative tools.
What You’ll Do
- Spearhead creative concepting and design development from initial brainstorming through to client presentations.
- Champion the creative vision across all digital, social, experiential, influencer, and content production initiatives.
- Transform client briefs into innovative, sophisticated, and culturally relevant concepts.
- Articulate creative ideas with clarity and confidence to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Manage the end-to-end creative process, ensuring all work aligns with client objectives and upholds agency standards.
- Provide expert leadership and creative direction to designers, art directors, creators, production partners, photographers, and directors.
- Maintain a strong creative point of view while demonstrating flexibility to accommodate client needs, brand guidelines, and project goals.
- Challenge clients creatively while ensuring concepts are strategically sound, feasible, and brand-appropriate.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with account management, influencer marketing, social media, production, and leadership teams.
- Stay abreast of current cultural trends, visual styles, digital platforms, creator dynamics, and cutting-edge AI tools.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in creative, advertising, or design agencies at a senior level.
- Preferably 4–5 years of proven creative leadership experience.
- Essential background in the beauty industry; experience in fashion, fragrance, wellness, and lifestyle is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in leading creative for social-first, digital-first, influencer, content, and campaign projects.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing a diverse range of relevant creative work and strong visual thinking is required.
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate creative concepts to clients.
- In-depth knowledge of social platforms, particularly Meta and TikTok, creator culture, and digital best practices.
- A refined design sensibility, excellent visual taste, and the ability to innovate within existing brand frameworks.
- Experience in developing creative presentations, ideally using Keynote; Figma proficiency is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Premiere.
- Familiarity with short-form video and motion graphics, preferably through After Effects or Premiere.
- A keen interest in AI tools and their application in creative workflows, including platforms like Midjourney, Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, Artlist, Eagle, and Flim.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be comfortable working autonomously in a remote agency setting while maintaining high levels of collaboration, responsiveness, and client engagement. Occasional virtual client presentations and potential travel for in-person meetings or production may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual compensation is approximately $180,000.
- Full-time employees receive health, dental, and vision benefits after 90 days of employment.
- Vacation time is accrued based on tenure and retroactively applied from the start date following the initial eligibility period.
- Candidates must possess a suitable home office setup, including reliable internet, a quiet workspace for calls, and potentially a company-provided laptop and software access.
