Craftsman Carpenter - Multi-Skilled Handyman

About the Role

Ace Handyman Services in the northern Pittsburgh area is seeking experienced, versatile carpenters with expertise in various trades to provide exceptional repair, maintenance, and remodeling solutions for residential and commercial customers. This opportunity offers a W2 employment format combining the freedom of independent work with the stability of scheduled projects. You will operate out of your home and travel using your personal vehicle to job sites across locations including Ross, Wexford, Cranberry, Allison Park, Gibsonia, and neighboring communities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality workmanship across a range of tasks such as carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, minor plumbing, and electrical work.
• Maintain professionalism through appearance and interpersonal communication to build strong relationships with clients, management, and team members.
• Handle troubleshooting, problem-solving, and detailed project documentation including invoicing.

Requirements

• Proven success as a carpenter or craftsman with preference for candidates with home inspection and estimation experience.
• Ability to conduct minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Possession of a complete set of personal tools and reliable transportation (truck or van).
• Valid driver's license and residence within the service area covering northern Pittsburgh territories.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay range: $22 to $28 per hour based on experience.
• Annual earnings potential between $45,000 and $55,000, with opportunities for performance bonuses.
