Role Overview
This position involves providing leadership and oversight of commercial quality operations in compliance with regulatory standards, quality systems, and internal policies. The role acts as the main quality liaison within the local market, supporting commercial teams, regulatory affairs, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality functions related to commercial activities ensuring adherence to laws, quality systems, and company policies.
- Serve as the chief quality contact for local operations, assisting business and commercial units.
- Manage post-market surveillance including complaint management, adverse events, and field actions.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Commercial Departments to ensure proper product distribution and lifecycle management.
- Implement and enforce global quality policies and standards at the local level.
- Support and facilitate audits, inspections, and regulatory authority engagements linked to commercial quality.
- Analyze quality data trends, identify risks, and lead remediation actions within the local market.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality culture, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, or related fields is required.
- Advanced degrees in scientific, quality, or regulatory disciplines are advantageous.
- 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in quality, regulatory, or compliance roles in regulated sectors.
- Thorough knowledge of quality system requirements and regulatory frameworks concerning commercial functions.
- Experience in supporting post-market surveillance, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Capability to interpret and apply regulatory standards to commercial business activities.
Preferred Experience
- Background in medical device or healthcare industries with stringent regulations.
- Understanding of Singapore’s regulatory and quality requirements.
- Experience within multinational and matrix organizational environments.
- Exposure to regulatory authority communications and audit processes.
- Relevant certifications such as ASQ, RAC in quality or regulatory fields.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, collaboration, analytics, problem solving, and decision making.

- Language proficiency in English is mandatory.
- The role requires minimal travel, mostly local or regional.
