Role Overview

The Country Sales Manager will be responsible for growing sales in the local market, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting business expansion across solar PV channels and project segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth in the local market by finding, evaluating, and winning new customers while nurturing long-term partnerships with existing overseas clients such as distributors, channel partners, large project developers, EPC contractors, and wholesalers.
  • Meet customers regularly and work with them to shape business plans and product strategies that support growth.
  • Manage technical coordination for customer and project delivery by applying strong product and system understanding to develop suitable solutions.
  • Track solar PV market developments, competitor activity, and customer insights to guide strategy, spot product improvement areas, and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, exhibitions, and events to strengthen brand awareness and create new business relationships.
  • Support ongoing improvements in sales processes to increase efficiency and overall effectiveness.
  • Apply channel rules for partners, handle disagreements where needed, and ensure policy compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated experience selling solar products within the PV industry.
  • Strong background in business development, negotiation, customer relationship management, and working in fast-changing, demanding markets.
  • Professional-level English communication skills.
  • Prior success in international sales and the ability to work comfortably in multicultural settings.
  • Willingness to travel within the country and internationally as required.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive, motivated, and target-driven approach.

Additional Information

This role is based in Ghana and is a full-time, onsite position.
