Role Overview
As the Country Manager for Ireland, you will take the helm of our wholesale business throughout the Irish market, driving both its strategic direction and performance outcomes. This senior leadership position carries full profit and loss responsibility, requiring you to foster commercial success while building stronger alliances with hearing care professionals and ensuring adherence to regulatory and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Irish wholesale operations with complete P&L ownership, targeting growth in revenue, market share, and profitability.
- Formulate and implement market strategies in Ireland that integrate commercial, sales, and operational excellence goals.
- Forge and maintain robust partnerships with audiologists, independent hearing care providers, retailers, and distributors.
- Serve as the Registered Director, guaranteeing compliance with all legal, regulatory, tax, and governance mandates applicable under Irish law.
- Lead the introduction of innovative products and solutions in the market, ensuring their successful commercial launch.
- Deliver strategic analyses, forecasting, and performance reports to regional management.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated leadership in commercial roles within medical devices, audiology, hearing care, or comparable healthcare industries.
- Strong commercial insight backed by hands-on experience managing profit and loss.
- Proven skill in developing strategic customer relationships and negotiating business contracts.
- Experienced in leading and nurturing high-performing teams.
- Eligibility to serve as an Irish Resident Director and to fulfill all statutory regulatory obligations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ireland's healthcare and audiology sectors.
- Familiarity working in regulated environments for medical device products.
