Job description
About HYXI
HYXI, the shorthand name for Zhejiang Hyxi Technology Co., Ltd., is a high-tech energy company focused on intelligent photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage system (ESS) solutions. The business covers research and development, manufacturing, sales, and service under one roof. Its portfolio includes microinverters, string inverters, hybrid inverters, and a wide range of storage systems for residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale applications, along with smart energy platforms.
Driven by innovation, HYXI is backed by a core team with more than twenty years of experience in the PV industry. More than 70% of the workforce is dedicated to R&D, and the company has already filed over 100 core patents. Its products carry more than 400 certifications from globally recognized testing bodies such as TÜV Rheinland, CSA, Bureau Veritas, and SGS. With a smart manufacturing facility spanning over 40,000 square meters and 12 global service centers, HYXI serves customers in more than 100 countries.
Role Overview
As Country Manager for Germany, you will lead HYXI’s commercial growth and market entry in the DACH region. This position is both a senior sales leadership role and an important cultural and business link between the German market and the company’s global headquarters in China. You will use your established network in the German renewable energy sector to build partnerships with tier-1 distributors, major solar retailers, and C&I EPC companies, helping position HYXI as a trusted premium brand.
What You Will Do
Your work will focus on expanding the business, strengthening channel relationships, shaping local go-to-market plans, and supporting the brand through market-facing activities and cross-border coordination.
- Identify, approach, and secure long-term relationships with leading German solar wholesalers, distributors, large installation businesses, and EPC firms in the commercial and industrial segment.
- Act as the main coordination point between the local market and global headquarters, translating German customer and market input into precise technical and commercial guidance for R&D and supply chain teams in China, while using English for international documentation.
- Manage strategic key accounts by designing tailored commercial terms, incentive structures, and support programs that strengthen long-term customer loyalty.
- Create and execute local sales plans that take regional grid conditions, VDE requirements, and subsidy programs such as KfW into account to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
- Monitor regulatory developments such as VDE-AR-N 4105 and 4110, along with market trends, pricing shifts, and competitor activity, and feed these insights into product roadmap decisions.
- Support the brand through local product roadshows, technical training sessions for installers, and representation at major national and international trade fairs, including Intersolar Europe in Munich.
Candidate Profile
You should bring strong sales and business development experience in the German PV inverter or ESS market, along with a ready-to-use network and the ability to work fluently across German, Mandarin Chinese, and English. The role also calls for strong ownership, an entrepreneurial mindset, and willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally to China.
Requirements
- At least 5 to 8 years of proven success in B2B sales or business development within the German PV inverter or energy storage industry.
- An active and reliable network of decision-makers at German solar wholesalers, major solar retailers, or EPC companies that can be engaged immediately.
- Strong knowledge of the German solar market, including certification procedures, grid connection requirements under VDE rules, and local subsidy and tax structures.
- Professional-level trilingual communication skills are mandatory: native-level German for confident negotiations with local partners, fluent Mandarin Chinese for daily collaboration with headquarters teams, and business-level English for cross-European coordination and documentation.
- A high degree of initiative, entrepreneurial drive, and intercultural awareness.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Germany and occasionally to the global headquarters in China.
