Country Manager - Ghana

Infinity Quest is seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead our operations in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. This role is pivotal in driving sales, managing P&L, fostering stakeholder relationships, and ensuring operational excellence within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business leadership, sales growth, and customer engagement, with a preference for experience in the Banking ATM or payments industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the Ghana sales and relationship management teams to achieve new business acquisition, renewals, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Formulate and implement country-specific sales strategies that align with broader regional and global objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth and maximize customer wallet share within financial institutions and key strategic accounts.
  • Maintain a precise and comprehensive sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely reporting.
  • Take ownership of customer commercial P&Ls, focusing on sustainable profitability and effective cost management.
  • Develop annual operating plans, budgets, and performance targets for the Ghanaian market.
  • Monitor financial performance closely and implement necessary corrective measures to meet targets.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with major financial institutions, including engaging with C-suite executives.
  • Lead critical strategic negotiations and oversee the execution of commercial agreements.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, customer events, and in interactions with regulatory bodies.
  • Liaise with government and regulatory authorities to ensure strict adherence to local laws and industry standards.
  • Guarantee that all business activities comply with company policies and established governance frameworks.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing local team, encompassing recruitment, objective setting, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Promote a culture that emphasizes accountability, innovation, and a strong customer focus.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Banking industry in Ghana, including competitor activities and emerging market trends.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to regional leadership to support informed decision-making.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Ensure the efficient execution of sales operations, customer onboarding processes, and service delivery.
  • Develop and analyze performance dashboards, including financial statements, sales reports, and operational key performance indicators.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Provide direct leadership for the financial institution sales and relationship management functions within Ghana.
  • Guide cross-functional collaboration efforts with Corporate, Marketing, and Product teams.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience within the financial services or banking sector is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in business leadership, driving sales growth, and managing customer relationships is essential.
  • Prior experience in the Banking ATM or payments industry is highly advantageous.
  • A proven history of successfully managing P&L responsibilities and achieving consistent business growth.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline is necessary; a Master's degree is considered a plus.
  • Possess strong capabilities in strategic thinking and operational planning.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with proven experience in presenting to senior executive levels.
  • Ability to navigate and manage complex, multi-functional sales cycles and collaborate effectively with international teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana.
