Job description
About the role
This position supports the Country Head’s Office and focuses on HR and people operations spanning the US and Europe. It is designed for someone who enjoys high ownership, close collaboration with leadership, and a fast-changing work environment. Over time, the role is intended to expand beyond core HR into wider business and operational work.
Key responsibilities
- Run HR and people operations for teams in the US and Europe, including employee lifecycle support, onboarding, engagement, and HR administration.
- Work with leadership to convert business priorities into concrete action plans.
- Assist with workforce planning and organizational growth across multiple regions.
- Maintain consistent HR processes while adjusting for local compliance requirements.
- Serve as a primary contact for employees across different geographies.
- Contribute to the development of scalable HR systems, policies, and workflows.
- Handle cross-border coordination, documentation, and day-to-day operational support.
- Deliver work in a fast-paced setting with limited supervision.
- Take on broader business and operational responsibilities as the role evolves.
Requirements
- 0 to 3 years of experience in HR, people operations, recruiting coordination, or a comparable function.
- Strong sense of ownership and comfort working through ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across regions and time zones.
- Ability to thrive in an execution-focused, rapidly moving environment.
- Strong eye for detail along with the ability to understand broader business context.
- Willingness to collaborate across US time zones, including afternoon overlap if based in India.
- Prior exposure to HR operations in the US or Europe is an advantage.
- Self-driven, quick-learning candidates from non-traditional backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Why this role
This is a leadership-path opportunity where HR is the entry point rather than the final destination. Strong performers can move from HR execution into wider business and operational responsibilities within 12 to 15 months, gaining direct exposure to leadership, global operations, and company building in a high-growth environment.
