About the role
This position is for someone who enjoys taking full ownership of a business territory or segment and driving it end to end. The focus is on revenue growth, profit generation and building strong stakeholder relationships. The right candidate should think like an owner, understand how to expand business, and be able to work closely with corporate clients, regional offices and events to create impact.
Key responsibilities
- Study the competitive landscape and build a strong database of prospects and customers using strategic marketing inputs and other lead sources.
- Take part in industry events and conferences, develop business relationships, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Create customized business proposals and engage prospects based on the company’s product offerings.
- Acquire corporate customers and manage relationships with business clients.
- Build and maintain relationships within the industry to earn preferred partner status for new and referral business.
- Support client retention through regular visits, quick escalation handling and consistent service delivery.
- Handle legal coordination, contract discussions and payment agreement processes with clients.
- Set up data systems to monitor team output and sales forecasts.
- Track credit policy compliance and contribute to business planning and sales strategy development.
- Participate in broader business planning aimed at improving volume and profitability.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant should have 1 to 3 years of solid experience in corporate or B2B sales. Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities are essential, along with the capability to negotiate effectively and close deals. The role suits someone who is hands-on, proactive, practical, and able to solve problems quickly in a fast-moving environment.
