Role Summary

This position is designed for a finance professional who can contribute to investment assessment, deal execution, mergers and acquisitions, and project development work. The role provides wide exposure to valuation work, financial modelling, due diligence, project financing, and cross-border transactions, while partnering with senior leaders and outside specialists.

The selected candidate will help build robust financial models, review strategic opportunities, support transaction completion, and assist with financing and delivery of major industrial projects in a dynamic environment driven by projects and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Take the lead on, and support, financing activities for sizeable petrochemical and infrastructure developments, including capital structure design, debt fundraising, and discussions with lenders and other financial partners.
• Create and update detailed financial models covering project finance, cash flow forecasts, debt repayment analysis, and business valuation.
• Draft investment briefs, lender-facing presentations, and other finance materials used in funding conversations and strategic transactions.
• Liaise with banks, export credit agencies, financial institutions, and advisors throughout the financing cycle.
• Contribute to mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, and strategic investments through valuation, financial analysis, and due diligence support.
• Collaborate with colleagues in finance, legal, technical, and project functions to support structuring and execution of new developments.

Requirements

• Strong command of financial modelling, especially project finance models, discounted cash flow analysis, and valuation techniques.
• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, project finance, investment banking, or infrastructure financing.
• Hands-on exposure to project finance deals involving banks and financial institutions.
• Background in petrochemicals, oil and gas, energy, infrastructure, or industrial businesses is strongly preferred.
• Well-developed analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder management capability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Financial Management, along with additional internationally recognised qualifications such as CPA or CA.
• CFA qualification or active progress toward CFA will be considered an advantage.

Additional Information

The position may require travel of around 20% to 30% from time to time, depending on business needs and organisational requirements.
