About the Role

Our client, a well-established company operating across the region in a dynamic commercial landscape, is looking for a seasoned Corporate Finance Manager specializing in Trading & Risk. This position involves partnering closely with the business teams to deliver financial insights, enhance performance management, and aid in prudent risk and capital allocation decisions. The role encompasses financial planning, reporting, and business collaboration to foster sustainable growth and create value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive financial analysis and commercial insights to steer business decisions and enhance profitability.
  • Support operations of joint ventures, including reviewing commercial agreements and fee structures.
  • Lead initiatives to improve reporting processes and reinforce internal controls.
  • Assist with tax-related analyses and support business integration efforts.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance tracking activities.
  • Oversee identification and management of financial risks such as foreign exchange, counterparty exposures, interest rate fluctuations, and commodity risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Treasury functions to optimize working capital and liquidity management.
  • Supervise financial reporting processes and coordinate with external auditors.

Candidate Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Professional qualifications like CPA, CFA, or an MBA are preferred.
  • At least 6 to 8 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or business partnering roles.
  • Experience or exposure to trading, commodities, manufacturing, energy sectors, or multinational corporations is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Sound knowledge of treasury operations, working capital management, and financial risk concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, adept at cross-functional collaboration.
  • Capable of supporting strategic projects and driving initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
