Job description

Role overview

An established Irish business is expanding quickly and expects to double in size over the coming year. In response to this growth, the company is strengthening its finance function and setting up a dedicated transactions team focused on driving value and supporting business expansion.

The business is looking to appoint three Corporate Finance Associates to join a close-knit team with exposure to a wide variety of work and direct interaction with senior leaders. This role is well suited to a finance professional who wants to deepen their corporate finance experience in an industry environment and make a meaningful contribution to a high-growth organisation.

What you will do

  • Play a supporting role in acquisitions, disposals, and financing projects.
  • Build and refine financial models, investment appraisals, and forward-looking performance forecasts.
  • Assist with due diligence activities and handle information flow and transaction documentation.
  • Prepare influential presentations, internal memoranda, and materials for investors.
  • Work with teams across the business to collect the information needed for transaction work.
  • Coordinate with external advisers, lenders, and investors across the lifecycle of deals.
  • Track financial commitments and monitor covenant compliance connected to current financing arrangements.
  • Spot opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Take on additional ad hoc work as needed.

Candidate profile

The employer is seeking an ACA or CFA-qualified professional with 0 to 3 years of post-qualification experience. Experience in corporate finance, transaction support, tax, transfer pricing, or investment-related roles would be beneficial. Strong financial modelling capability, advanced Excel ability, and the confidence to produce both qualitative and quantitative analysis for senior decision-making are important. The role also calls for commercial awareness, sound judgement when reviewing qualitative information, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Why this role stands out

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in corporate finance while growing with a progressive, expanding company and working closely with senior leadership.

About the employer

The role sits within a well-known Irish company that is scaling rapidly. Its finance team is being expanded to support this growth, with the new transactions sub-team intended to create value and support continued development across the business.
