Job description
Role overview
You will be joining a highly regarded global investment business with more than four decades of investment success. The firm is looking to bring in an Investment Associate or Senior Associate to support a team focused on evaluating and managing its Corporate Credit portfolio.
What you will do
- Track portfolio trading outcomes by reviewing detailed financial statements and maintaining regular dialogue with the underlying company.
- Carry out investment assessments across the portfolio.
- Build financial models and run sensitivity analyses.
- Prepare quarterly portfolio reviews and present findings to Investment Committees.
What the employer is looking for
- Between 5 and 8 years of relevant experience in areas such as investment banking, corporate finance, deals, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, transaction services, or restructuring.
- A strong academic record.
- ACA or CFA qualifications are not required, though they would be an advantage.
- Solid commercial judgement and a strong grasp of financial statements and financial modelling.
