Job description

About the company

e.l.f. Beauty is a multi-brand beauty business built around clean, cruelty-free products offered at accessible prices. Since the launch of e.l.f. Cosmetics in 2004, the company has broadened its portfolio to include e.l.f. SKIN, Well People, Naturium, and rhode skin, each focused on delivering high-performing, consumer-friendly beauty and skincare solutions.

The company reported $1 billion in net sales in fiscal year 25 and has achieved 29 straight quarters of sales growth. It is the second-largest mass cosmetics brand in the US and the fastest-growing brand among the top five in the mass cosmetics category. Its compensation approach for full-time employees includes competitive pay, benefits, bonus eligibility, equity, flexible time off, year-round half-day Fridays, and a work model that blends three days in the office with two days at home.

Role overview

The Marketing Coordinator, International position supports EMEA marketing execution for e.l.f. Cosmetics and e.l.f. SKIN. The role is centered on helping deliver consistent storytelling across paid, owned, and earned channels, while keeping the needs of the brand, consumer, channel partners, and retailers in mind. Although the role is based in Germany, the functional focus is across the EMEA region, and it reports to the Marketing Manager, EMEA.

Key responsibilities

You will help bring 360 marketing plans to life through close coordination with internal teams and external partners. This includes supporting campaign development, handling retailer marketing activity, and ensuring timelines, budgets, and launch updates stay on track.

  • Support the rollout of 360 go-to-market calendars by working with cross-functional teams.
  • Brief creative agencies on campaigns, cultural moments, and related asset needs throughout the year.
  • Coordinate with agencies on creative asset requests and delivery.
  • Act as the main day-to-day contact for retailer marketing teams.
  • Prepare and manage briefing materials for retailer marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with the Brand Manager, EMEA to build strong retailer-focused 360 campaigns.
  • Lead sampling programs from planning through budget management and execution to encourage trial and attract new consumers.
  • Work with demand planning to estimate sample volumes based on marketing plans.
  • Serve as the primary contact for sampling agencies and support day-to-day coordination.
  • Work with Project Managers to communicate timelines and key updates for launch activity.
  • Track campaign performance and budgets for retailer marketing and sampling initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be able to think strategically and creatively, communicate clearly, and thrive in a fast-moving environment with cross-border stakeholders. The role also calls for strong awareness of beauty culture, digital trends, and consumer behavior.

  • Keep the marketing calendar, consumer mindset, trends, and seasonal moments in mind when planning work.
  • Help draft creative copy for social platforms in a tone suited to e.l.f. and the local market.
  • Stay current on cultural, beauty, and digital developments to inform new ideas.
  • Work closely with Social Media, PR, Paid Media, Creative, and Retail teams to maintain a unified message.
  • Be comfortable filming and self-filming content for social channels when needed, such as store moments, product reviews, trend content, and retailer collaborations.
  • Have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in marketing campaign support and product launch coordination aimed at brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Be fluent in German and English.
  • Experience in the beauty industry is helpful.
  • Bring a creative mindset and the ability to develop fresh, compelling ideas grounded in brand storytelling.
  • Use consumer insights and data to support innovation and growth opportunities.
  • Stay composed and effective in a fast-paced setting with teams across multiple geographies.
  • Communicate well in writing, speaking, and visuals, including clear and persuasive PowerPoint presentations and confident executive-level presentations.
  • Organize priorities well and deliver multiple outputs simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Have a genuine passion for beauty and keep up closely with new launches and trends.
  • Be willing and able to travel across Europe.
