About the Role

KPMG in Canada invites candidates to join as a Contract Specialist in the Contingent Labour Office (CLO), supporting processes for engaging external resources across all Canadian locations. The CLO team facilitates streamlined, customer-focused management of contingent workforce resources, balancing business requirements with risk reduction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and guide Hiring Managers in procuring external resources using specialized knowledge and expertise.
  • Manage case processes from initial setup, ongoing contract administration, renewals, and contract terminations for over 1000 external resources annually.
  • Enhance internal workflows, update documentation, and leverage technologies to improve team operations and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct due diligence activities including history checks, background screening, and compliance verifications for contractors.
  • Provide training and support for vendor management system utilization to Hiring Managers.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders regarding case status and updates.
  • Address and resolve inquiries related to contingent workforce matters.
  • Lead or assist process improvement initiatives including SOP maintenance, documentation updates, and stakeholder training.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Between 3 to 5 years of case management or related experience.
  • Experience working with staffing agencies, contract labour, or contingent workforce arrangements is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingualism (English/French) is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including senior firm leaders, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and multitasking abilities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proactive in continuous improvement, capable of executing change initiatives effectively.
  • Proficiency in multiple software platforms including vendor management systems (such as Flextrack or Beeline), MS Office suite with advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with ServiceNow.
  • College or university degree in a relevant discipline.

Additional Information

The position offers a virtual work option anywhere in Canada, with occasional in-office meetings (1-2 days per month). Expected base salary ranges between $55,000 to $82,000 annually, with eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits depending on individual qualifications and location.
