Role Overview
This Kathmandu-based, on-site full-time position is responsible for managing contracts and related records in support of Sky Nexus’s IT and information security work. The role centers on preparing and reviewing agreements, coordinating discussions around contract terms, and making sure documents follow company policies and relevant regulations. It also includes tracking contract timelines and obligations, working with procurement, finance, legal, and technical teams on vendor and client agreements, assessing contractual risk, and producing summaries and reports for leadership. Continuous improvement of contract handling processes is also part of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, update, and maintain contracts along with all supporting documentation.
- Help coordinate contract discussions and ensure proposed terms match legal and company requirements.
- Monitor contract timelines, renewal dates, deliverables, and other key obligations.
- Work with procurement, finance, legal, and technical teams on vendor and client contracts.
- Review contract language to identify risk areas and suggest practical improvements.
- Compile contract summaries, status updates, and management reports.
- Support better contract administration workflows and process enhancements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience handling contracts and keeping records accurate and well organized.
- Background in negotiating contracts and supporting procurement-related decisions.
- Strong analytical ability to assess terms, evaluate risk, and make clear recommendations.
- Confident communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Understanding of contract law fundamentals and standard contract practices; experience with IT or cybersecurity agreements is a plus.
- Comfort using contract/document management systems and Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a busy environment.
