The role focuses on building the brand, communicating climate impact, supporting commercial growth, and producing high-quality content for international stakeholders such as carbon credit buyers, investors, partners, media, and industry audiences.
This position calls for a blend of strategic planning, content development, project coordination, and market awareness. The right person should be able to turn technical, environmental, and commercial subject matter into messaging that is clear, persuasive, and trustworthy.
Brand and positioning
- Shape and preserve Exomad Green’s brand identity across all communication touchpoints.
- Keep messaging aligned around biochar, carbon removal, sustainability, community benefit, certification, traceability, and operational scale.
- Help strengthen the company’s image as a leading provider of durable, high-quality carbon removal.
- Stay informed on developments in carbon removal, voluntary carbon markets, sustainability, climate finance, and biochar.
Content and communications
- Produce polished written materials for LinkedIn, newsletters, press releases, website updates, brochures, presentations, videos, and event collateral.
- Convert technical and operational updates into messaging that works for corporate buyers, investors, partners, and broader audiences.
- Support brand storytelling around facilities, carbon removal outcomes, community initiatives, farmer benefits, forest oversight, biomass traceability, and local development efforts.
- Work with internal teams to collect accurate updates, data, visual assets, and technical details.
- Ensure every external communication remains accurate, professional, and consistent with company values and business goals.
Digital marketing and social media
- Own and expand Exomad Green’s LinkedIn presence and other relevant digital channels.
- Build and manage a content calendar tied to milestones, events, certifications, partnerships, client news, and industry shifts.
- Measure online engagement and suggest ways to improve reach, authority, and interaction.
- Look for opportunities to extend visibility through partners, clients, registries, certifiers, marketplaces, and industry platforms.
Sales and commercial support
- Assist the sales team with marketing assets such as buyer decks, project summaries, one-pagers, case studies, proposal content, and RFP responses.
- Create communication materials tailored to corporate buyers of carbon removal credits.
- Help prepare content for client meetings, conferences, investor conversations, and strategic partnerships.
- Communicate the company’s value proposition clearly, including scale, quality, certification, traceability, co-benefits, durability, and long-term climate impact.
Events and partnerships
- Support planning and delivery for the company’s presence at international climate, carbon removal, sustainability, and corporate events.
- Coordinate event materials, speaking opportunities, side events, client meetings, and follow-up outreach.
- Collaborate with partners, registries, marketplaces, and industry bodies to grow brand visibility.
- Assist executive participation in panels, interviews, conferences, and customer-facing events.
Media and public relations
- Support outreach to media and help coordinate interviews, articles, podcasts, videos, and public announcements.
- Prepare briefing notes, talking points, and key messages for executives.
- Keep the tone of all external communication professional, credible, and consistent.
- Identify useful media and thought-leadership opportunities for Exomad Green.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a similar discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, sustainability, climate, carbon markets, B2B services, or a related area.
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills; Spanish is a strong advantage, and other languages are a plus.
- Strong writing ability with the capacity to make complex topics easy to understand.
- Hands-on experience managing LinkedIn and other professional digital communication channels.
- Ability to create presentations, brochures, sales collateral, and executive-level content.
- Strong planning and multitasking skills with the ability to manage several projects at once.
- Genuine interest in climate change, carbon removal, sustainability, nature-based solutions, or biochar.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setup while coordinating smoothly with teams across time zones.
Preferred background
- Experience in carbon markets, carbon dioxide removal, climate tech, renewable energy, sustainability consulting, environmental commodities, or corporate sustainability.
- Working knowledge of voluntary carbon markets, CDR, biochar, MRV, certification frameworks, or corporate net-zero strategies.
- Exposure to international clients, media, investors, or strategic partners.
- Basic design capability with tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
- Experience managing video, photography, events, or content campaigns.
- Background supporting B2B sales teams with marketing and commercial collateral.
Personal profile
- The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, highly organized, and professionally polished.
- They should feel comfortable in a fast-growing business with international exposure and changing priorities.
- They must be able to take initiative, work without close supervision, and appreciate the importance of credibility in the carbon removal space.
- The right person will balance creativity and structure, move quickly when needed, and collaborate effectively with teams in different countries and functions.
Location and work arrangement
This is a fully remote role. Candidates can be based anywhere, although European countries are preferred, as long as they can collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders across multiple time zones.
The position involves regular virtual meetings and close coordination with commercial, certification, operations, and executive teams.
