Job description
About Fjord Media
Fjord Media is a compact, collaborative team focused on bringing a fresh, modern approach to marketing for the construction industry. The work is centered on helping companies that are highly skilled in their craft but are often just beginning to build their marketing presence. Rather than generic content, the team aims to create thoughtful stories, strong visuals, and campaigns that genuinely make an impact.
The environment is direct and hands-on: there are no long approval chains, ideas can be implemented quickly, and the team values open communication and close collaboration. Quality matters more than volume, and the goal is to produce work the team can be proud of.
Your role
- Create content for clients from concept through final design, including social posts, ads, and newsletters.
- Write clear, persuasive copy for social media, websites, and campaign materials.
- Edit images and visuals independently.
- Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to each brand.
- Plan SEO-related actions and build content calendars.
- Communicate directly with clients, gather feedback, and contribute your own ideas.
- Research industry topics, trends, and competitors to support high-quality content development.
- Use AI tools in a practical way to speed up workflows and improve content quality.
What you should bring
- Strong creative and aesthetic skills in both design and writing.
- A sharp visual eye and a confident feel for language.
- Clear, convincing communication skills in writing and conversation.
- Native-level German with flawless written expression.
- Solid understanding of modern marketing and what makes campaigns effective.
- Confident use of Canva, with bonus experience in Adobe Lightroom and Illustrator.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI tools in day-to-day marketing work, especially Higgsfield.
- Confidence in direct client communication, including listening carefully and asking the right questions.
- A structured, careful working style, especially when researching.
- Genuine interest in learning more about customer acquisition and employee recruitment for construction businesses.
- Several years of experience from an agency, a marketing team, or freelance work, with the ability to work independently and apply your craft reliably.
What we offer
- Responsibility from day one rather than a purely supporting role.
- Fully remote work with flexible scheduling.
- 25 hours per week as the base, with the option to increase up to 30 hours per week.
- A fixed monthly salary.
- Short decision-making paths in a small, motivated team.
- Exposure to a niche industry with strong untapped potential.
- Fair compensation aligned with the market.
Work arrangement
This position is designed as a part-time remote role based on a 25-hour work week, with flexibility to scale up to 30 hours if needed.
