About Planned With
Planned With is a Texas-based experiential event agency dedicated to crafting unforgettable experiences through corporate events, luxury celebrations, conferences, and immersive brand activations. From large conferences to intimate executive dinners, we design spaces that invite memorable moments and photography. Currently, we are assembling a reliable roster of freelance Event Content Creators for ongoing assignments in Houston and Austin.
Role Overview
The Content Creator will be responsible for capturing the essence, mood, and energy of our events via high-quality photography and short-form videos. Working independently on location, you will discreetly blend with attendees to document authentic, natural moments as they happen.
Core Responsibilities
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage, styled event setups, candid guest moments, keynote sessions, entertainment, and the venue’s ambiance.
- Emphasize sponsor activations and branded visuals effectively.
- Create vertical format videos specifically designed for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Deliver high-resolution raw photo and video files after events, along with a curated selection of lightly edited, ready-to-share social media content.
Equipment Requirements
- While a professional camera is preferred, it is not mandatory.
- A smartphone that can shoot high-quality photos and videos (e.g., iPhone Pro or similar) is acceptable.
- Use of gimbals or stabilizers is optional and welcomed if available.
- Note that Planned With does not supply equipment; applicants must bring their own camera or smartphone.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience in event photography, videography, or social content creation, preferably in corporate, luxury, or brand activation contexts.
- Excellent visual judgment including composition, lighting, and storytelling through images.
- A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate impactful moments and capture genuine reactions.
- Professional and polished interaction style when engaging with guests and clients.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as events dictate.
- Residency in the Austin or Houston metropolitan areas is a must.
