Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Consumer Insights Researcher to join the iFIT team remotely within the United States. This role focuses on conducting impactful research to provide actionable insights, aiding smarter organizational decisions. You will oversee key consumer trackers and perform primary research to deeply understand members, potential customers, and the fitness industry landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and promote a unified segmentation and persona framework across Marketing, Product, and Subscription departments to enhance product design relevance.
  • Execute strategic studies addressing opportunities in pricing, content, and product strategies that influence business planning and stakeholder decisions.
  • Develop an AI-driven, automated real-time Voice of Customer (VOC) program requiring minimal manual research involvement.
  • Utilize AI technologies to significantly accelerate insight delivery timelines.
  • Design and carry out mixed quantitative and qualitative research projects responding to critical business queries and strategic goals.
  • Manage research efforts globally, ensuring data precision and cultural sensitivity.
  • Create survey and discussion guide instruments aligned with project goals using sound methodologies.
  • Lead qualitative studies such as focus groups, interviews, ethnography, and online community engagement.
  • Analyze data employing multivariate and descriptive techniques including regression, factor, and cluster analyses to uncover actionable findings.
  • Transform research outcomes into coherent, visualized narratives that guide strategic decisions.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams in Marketing, Product, and Operations.
  • Employ AI tools to streamline data processing and speed up reporting without sacrificing data quality.
  • Stay informed of new research methods and technologies to enhance research speed, quality, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Regularly disseminate consumer insights and trends organization-wide via channels such as Slack.
  • Oversee ongoing consumer tracker studies including NPS, customer satisfaction, and brand health, managing all phases from survey design to data integrity assurance.
  • Create and maintain interactive Qualtrics dashboards showcasing crucial consumer metrics to stakeholders.
  • Interpret longitudinal data patterns to guide strategic business directions.
  • Continuously improve tracker methodologies to maintain insight robustness and relevancy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in mixed-method consumer insights research or equivalent.
  • Strong expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research approaches.
  • Skilled in crafting data-driven stories and translating analysis into actionable business strategies.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects in dynamic settings.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation capabilities.
  • Experience with qualitative research methods including thematic coding and ethnography.
  • Proficient with Qualtrics for survey design, automation, and dashboard creation.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Excel, Tableau, SPSS or R, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and AI-powered analysis tools.
  • Background in the fitness, health, or wellness industry.
  • Proven ability to integrate qualitative and quantitative research findings into comprehensive insights.

Additional Information

Compensation ranges between $75,000 and $100,000 annually and may vary based on position level, geographic location, and incentive plans. Employment is at-will, permitting either party to terminate the employment relationship at any time without cause.
