Job description

About the Company

Visa is a global payments technology company that enables money movement between consumers, merchants, banks, and government bodies across more than 200 countries and territories. The organization focuses on making payments simple, accessible, and effective for people and businesses everywhere.

Working here means taking on high-impact challenges, building your expertise, and contributing to projects that can influence communities and markets around the world.

Role Overview

The Consulting Manager will lead consulting work for clients in Saudi Arabia, helping them uncover strategic opportunities, solve complex business issues, and achieve measurable outcomes. This position blends structured problem solving, project leadership, stakeholder coordination, commercial support, and people development. It is a strong fit for someone with solid consulting skills, experience in payments or financial services, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, matrix-style environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day delivery of consulting assignments, ensuring the outputs are insightful, practical, and valuable to clients.
  • Break down complex business problems into clear analyses, findings, and executive-ready narratives.
  • Create recommendations based on data, market trends, and Visa’s capabilities.
  • Handle several workstreams at once while keeping quality high and deadlines on track.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for client teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Support senior client conversations by explaining findings, risks, proposed actions, and implementation factors clearly.
  • Address client concerns, changing needs, and objections in a constructive and solutions-focused way.
  • Work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Risk, and Innovation teams to shape suitable client solutions.
  • Assist with proposals and pitches by turning client challenges into commercially sound problem statements and delivery plans.
  • Spot follow-on opportunities and help grow the pipeline by connecting current work with broader client needs.
  • Take part in strategic planning sessions with internal teams and help define future engagements.
  • Lead project workstreams, coordinate contributors, and make sure deliverables are completed on time and to a strong standard.
  • Coach junior colleagues and support capability growth through feedback, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
  • Contribute to internal methods, reusable tools, and knowledge assets.
  • Develop deep expertise in priority consulting areas and become a trusted advisor both internally and externally.
  • Bring market intelligence and fresh ideas into engagements, especially for Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in consulting, banking, payments, or another analytical environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI tools such as co-pilot and large language models.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Proven client-facing experience and the ability to communicate well with business stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation creation and executive storytelling.
  • Preferred background in payments, cards, commercial payments, digital banking, or broader financial services strategy.
  • Experience building and using custom AI agents is preferred.
  • Prior work experience in the Middle East, ideally Saudi Arabia, is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
  • Arabic language skills are a plus for client work in Saudi Arabia.
  • The role requires working from the office at least 3 days per week; exact days will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
