About the Role

This position is integral to the organization, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of integration solutions for efficient connectivity between internal systems and external partners within fintech and payment environments. The Consultant ensures reliable data exchange, supports payment and billing processes, and promotes scalability using API-driven and event-based architectures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and design RESTful APIs and integration services that meet enterprise standards and allow interoperability.
• Construct scalable, secure integration solutions bridging internal and external systems.
• Create and manage integration workflows and data pipelines for seamless payment system integration.
• Guarantee accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and traceability in transactional data flows across various systems.
• Implement enterprise integration patterns, contributing to API-led and event-driven architectural designs, participating in reviews and governance.
• Utilize development technologies, particularly C# (.NET) or Java, and apply CI/CD and DevOps methodologies to enhance performance and maintainability.
• Analyze payment and billing data to support reconciliation and validate financial data, aligning with financial data models and standards.
• Document API specifications, integration designs, and key technical decisions; maintain reusable components and evaluate emerging fintech and integration innovations.
• Adhere strictly to departmental policies, operating procedures, safety, quality, environmental, and information security guidelines to ensure a safe, consistent, and secure work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in Integration, Cloud technologies, or Software Development are advantageous.
• 4 to 6 years of professional experience in software development focused on APIs, integrations, or data engineering.
• Expertise in REST APIs, enterprise integration patterns, payment gateway systems, billing platforms, SQL, and cloud services, combined with a thorough understanding of payment transaction flows and reconciliation processes.
