Role overview
We are hiring a skilled and empathetic Consultant Neurologist to become part of a clinical team in Sharjah. The successful doctor will assess and manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions, deliver high-quality patient care, and work alongside other healthcare specialists to build well-rounded treatment plans.
This position is suited to someone who wants to practice in an advanced medical setting and contribute to the ongoing improvement of neurological services and patient outcomes.
What you will do
- Carry out detailed neurological examinations and clinical assessments to identify a range of nervous system disorders.
- Create tailored treatment plans using up-to-date medical evidence and accepted standards of care.
- Use specialist diagnostic tools and investigations such as MRI, CT, EEG, and EMG when evaluating patients.
- Explain diagnoses, treatment choices, and preventive care measures clearly to patients and their families.
- Work in close coordination with doctors and other healthcare professionals to improve treatment results.
- Take part in research activities and keep learning through ongoing professional development.
- Keep patient documentation complete, accurate, and compliant with internal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from a recognized and accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Neurology.
- Current medical license allowing practice.
- At least 5 years of experience in the role of Consultant Neurologist.
- Strong understanding of neurological diseases and modern treatment approaches.
- Hands-on exposure to neurodiagnostic equipment and technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
- Committed to continuous education and career growth.
- Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.
